150 jobs are to be created in Galway and Louth over the coming three years.

100 jobs are to be provided this year at what is said to be Europe's first fully cloud-based customer engagement centre in Dundalk.

SalesSense International is a sales solution provider and was established in Dundalk less than ten years ago.

150 people are now employed at the company.

The new jobs are in sales, marketing, IT and recruitment.

Recruitment will start immediately and the posts are expected to be filled by the end of the year.

SalesSense's new engagement centre is being officially opened this morning by Minister for Jobs and Enterprise Richard Bruton.

Meanwhile, Galway-based healthcare company Lifes2Good is to create 50 new positions over the next three years at its global headquarters in the city.

The company is to be the recipient of a €5m investment from the BDO Development Capital Fund, which provides growth capital for mid-sized companies to assist them to accelerate their export-led growth plans.

The €75m fund was launched last year.
