Post-mortem examinations will be carried out tomorrow on the bodies of a man and woman who died following a house fire in Duleek, Co Meath.
The victims have been named locally as 53-year-old Michael Clifford, and his partner, Charlotte McGuinness, who was in her 40s.
Both were from the area.
The fire which broke out in their home at Keenogue, Duleek is believed to have been started accidentally.
The alarm was raised by a family member this morning.They had not been seen since Saturday night.
Fire services say it may take some time to establish when and how the fire started.
Gardaí are investigating the blaze, but they say there is nothing to suggest it was started deliberately.
