Gardaí have recovered all the money that was taken from an elderly Dublin woman by conmen earlier this week.
Kathleen Byrne, 83, handed over €3,000 to the gang after they persuaded her she needed urgent work on the roof of her home.
However, after she handed over the money the men disappeared.
Her story was highlighted by RTÉ's Liveline.
Earlier today three men were interviewed by gardaí investigating the incident.
Tonight it has emerged that all of Ms Byrne’s money has been recovered.
A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
