The M50 northbound has reopened after being closed after a truck carrying bales of hay caught fire at Junction 6 near Blanchardstown this afternoon.
Several units of the Dublin Fire Service dealt with the incident at Junction 6 of the motorway.
Gardaí had advised motorists to use an alternative route.
Gardaí also said the five-axle vehicle restriction in Dublin city centre has been lifted temporarily.
