Detectives investigating the awarding of Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) vehicle contracts have arrested a member of staff.
The 54-year-old suspect was detained in Co Antrim on suspicion of misconduct in public office.
A number of arrests have been made as part of the inquiry and the chief constable of West Yorkshire Police was recently suspended pending an investigation by his former force in Northern Ireland.
A PSNI spokesman confirmed the latest development.
He said: "Detectives from serious crime branch investigating the awarding of a number of PSNI vehicle contracts have arrested a 54-year-old member of police staff in Co Antrim.
"He has been arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office and has been taken to a police station in Belfast for questioning."
