A record 88,000 people attended Ireland's biggest free air show in Bray, in Co Wicklow.

Pilots flew in from all across Europe to take part in the Bray Air Display.

Organisers of the show paid their respects to the passengers and crew of the Malaysia Airlines plane that went down in Ukraine during the past week.

As well as showcasing a range of modern and vintage aircraft, there were ground displays from the Irish Defence Forces, the RAF, the Mullingar Model Flying Club and Executive Helicopters.

Last year a record 85,000 spectators saw the event.
