Sentencing in the case of a fomer Fianna Fáil councillor has been adjourned until next Thursday, 3 July.

39-year-old Gary O’Flynn, a former member of Cork City Councillor, was found guilty last month of 13 counts of deception and of obtaining monies falsely when he operated as financial advisor at a company called DEBT Assist.

Judge Seán Ó Donnabháin told the Cork Circuit Criminal Court he wished to consider a medical report on Mr O’Flynn before passing sentence.
