Six people, including four PSNI officers, were injured in a collision between a car and a police vehicle in south Belfast.

A PSNI spokeswoman said the crash took place at Bell's Bridge shortly after 2.30am. 

The two occupants of the car were taken to hospital for treatment.

Their injuries are not believed to be life threatening. 

Four PSNI officers were also taken to hospital, one remains in hospital.

The spokeswoman said Police Ombudsman's Office has been informed.
