Eight men have appeared before Dublin District Court in connection with a major drugs seizure by gardaí.
Over €5 million worth of drugs were discovered in Dublin and Meath yesterday following an operation led by the Garda National Drugs Unit
Ivan Tihon, 32, of no fixed abode, is charged with possession of cannabis and possession of cannabis for sale or supply. He was remanded in custody to appear before Cloverhill on 24 April.
Alan Wallace, 46, of Kilcronin Park, Bawnough, Clondalkin was granted bail to appear before Blanchardstown Court on 5 June. He is charged with possession of cannabis and possession of cannabis for sale or supply.
31-year-old Jakob Kedzirski of Verdemont Apartments, Blanchardstown was also granted bail to appear before Blanchardstown court on 13 June. He is charged with possession of ecstasy and possession of ecstasy for sale or supply.
Jason Hughes 31, of Castlefield Park, Clonsilla, Dublin was remanded in custody with consent to bail. He is due to appear before Cloverhill Court next Wednesday.
Graham Cavanagh of Markievicz House, Pearse Street Dublin was remanded in custody with consent to bail. He was charged with possession of cannabis and possession with intent to sell or supply.
Gardaí are continuing to question a number of other men.
