A man who was shot near a crèche in Dublin last week has died in hospital.
Declan Smith, 32, was shot on Holywell Avenue in Donaghmede last Friday.
He died in Beaumont Hospital overnight.
A post-mortem examination was expected to be carried out by State Pathologist Professor Marie Cassidy today.
The garda investigation into the incident is ongoing.
