A second man is expected to appear in court in the midlands tomorrow charged in connection with the Christy Daly murder investigation in Clara, Co Offaly.
The 47-year-old was found shot dead at Kilbride in Clara on 7 January.
Last week a 23-year-old man appeared in court in Portlaoise charged with the murder of Mr Daly.
Ross Allen, of Kilmonaghan Lodge, Clara, was remanded in custody at a sitting of Portlaoise District Court last Friday.
