Two people have been arrested following the death of a 26-year-old man in Portarlington, Co Laois.
The man's body was discovered at around 5pm on Spa Street in Portarlington.
It is believed he had been stabbed to death.
The two men arrested are in their early 30s and mid 40s.
The body remains at the scene and the State Pathologist has been notified.
