A man in his 30s is due in court tomorrow charged in connection with a fatal stabbing in Co Dublin in the early hours of St Stephen’s Day.

Two men in their 20s were found on the road at Rathsallagh Park, Shankill Road, with serious stab injuries at around 5.30am on 26 December.    

They were taken to St Vincents Hospital, but one of the men was pronounced dead shortly after 8am.

The man who died was in his late 20s and had come home for Christmas from Australia where he had been working for the past number of years.

The second man is reported to be in a serious condition in hospital.

The suspect in his 30s  was arrested in the Dublin area and is due before a sitting of Bray District Court tomorrow morning.
