Three men have been arrested in Co Meath by gardaí investigating the activities of gangs involved in large scale theft and burglaries across the country.

The men, two aged in their 20s and one in his 30s, are expected to be brought before Navan District Court this evening in connection with the operation.

Gardaí recovered a large amount of property, including televisions, laptops, mobile phones, jewellery and builders equipment, during a search of an industrial unit in Batterstown yesterday afternoon.
