Deliberations suspended in Dublin murder trialFriday 19 July 2013 18.25
The jury in the trial of a nurse accused of murdering her mother have suspended their deliberations for the weekend.
Lithuanian Greta Dudko, 35, of Station Court Hall, Clonsilla in Dublin has pleaded not guilty to murder but guilty to the manslaughter of 55-year-old Anna Butautiene at that address on 24 December 2010.
The Central Criminal Court heard the plea was not acceptable to the Director of Public Prosecutions and a jury of seven men and five women was sworn in for the two-week trial.
After three hours and 49 minutes considering their verdict, the jury suspended their deliberations until Monday.
