Gardaí have begun a murder investigation after a man was stabbed to death in Dublin.
The 56-year-old man was attacked and seriously injured in a flat in Ballybough in the north of the city.
He was taken to the Mater Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Two men, aged 53 and 46, have been arrested.
They are being questioned at Mountjoy Garda Station and can be questioned for up to 24 hours.
A number of people had been drinking in the flat and a row broke out.
