Former Pakistan cricket international and politician Imran Khan fell from a stage and was injured at a political rally in the eastern city of Lahore.
One of the leaders of Khan's party, Ejaz Chaudhry, said the politician was taken to a hospital after the incident, but his injuries are not life-threatening.
Local television footage showed supporters carrying Mr Khan away from the rally. His face was bloody and he appeared unconscious.
Mr Khan fell at least five metres off what appeared to be a makeshift elevator raising him up to the stage.
"He has received injuries to his head and has been taken to hospital," said Malik Ishtiaq, a local spokesman for Mr Khan's Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
