The Revenue Commissioners are carrying out a tax audit on the Houses of the Oireachtas.
Officers from the Revenue were on site in Leinster House earlier this month in what is thought to have been the first such exercise involving the Houses.
It is likely there will be further queries and contact as the audit process proceeds.
Revenue is empowered to audit any business or institution to check it is tax compliant.
