A man in his 20s has been shot dead in a pub in Cabra, Co Dublin.
The fatal shooting took place at the Cabra House Pub, also known as the Oasis, on Faussagh Avenue just after 7pm.
It is believed up to six shots were fired.
The victim had previous convictions for assault and drugs offences.
He has at least 12 previous convictions and has served jail sentences for drug dealing and assault, including an attack on gardaí in Cabra a number of years ago.
Two gunmen escaped on a motorbike.
Gardaí are now trying to identify and interview those who were in the pub at the time.
They are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
