Two men are due in court on Friday charged in connection with the murder of Roy Collins in Limerick nearly four years ago.

Mr Collins, 35, was shot dead at the family business in Limerick on 9 April 2009.

It is alleged he was shot after a member of his family reported a crime to the gardaí implicating a member of a gang who was subsequently jailed.

The Collins family left Limerick and moved abroad last year following threats and intimidation.

They had been under full-time garda protection.
