Developer Thomas McFeely is to ask the High Court to review its decision to declare him bankrupt.

Mr McFeely was declared bankrupt last July after the court ruled his centre of main business interest was Ireland and not the UK as he had argued.

The Priory Hall developer had opposed the bankruptcy proceedings taken by a woman over the failure of one of his companies to pay her a court award of €100,000.

Theresa McGuinness, from Rush, Co Dublin, had asked the High Court to declare his main centre of interest as the Republic of Ireland after he was previously adjudicated bankrupt in a London court.

The court was told this morning that Mr McFeely is to bring a motion asking the High Court to review its decision.

The case was adjourned to December.
