Gardaí have appealed for witnesses after three separate crashes in counties Tipperary, Cork and Wexford.

Two men, aged 19 and 20, were seriously injured in a single vehicle crash in the village of Holycross in Co Tipperary at 2.30am.

They were taken to South Tipperary General Hospital in Clonmel for treatment.

Elsewhere, three men were seriously injured in a crash in Togher, Co Cork.

The men, two aged 19 and another aged 20, were taken to Cork University Hospital.

Separately, two people in their 20s were seriously injured when the car they were travelling in crashed near Gorey, Co Wexford.

The crash happened at 7.15pm last night on the Gorey to Carnew Road.
