The heir to the Tetra Pak carton fortune, Hans Kristian Rausing, has been charged with preventing the lawful and decent burial of the body of his wife Eva Rausing.
The charge extends to "on or before" 9 July, when Mrs Rausing was found dead in her central London home, after her husband was arrested by police on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs.
Reports suggest, Mr Rausing, 49, son of Swedish packaging billionaire Hans Rausing, one of the world's richest men, may have lived with his wife's body for days.
He will appear at West London Magistrates' Court tomorrow.
