Gardaí have seized ecstasy and heroin with an estimated street value of €190,000 during a planned search in Co Longford.
In excess of 10,000 ecstasy tablets and a quantity of heroin was recovered in the planned search of a derelict building on the Longford Edgeworthstown Road at around 11pm last night.
The intelligence-led operation was conducted by detectives and members of the drugs unit from the Longford-Roscommon division.
While the exact number of tablets remains unclear, gardaí said the ecstasy tablets accounted for about three quarters of the haul.
No arrests have been made in relation to the find and investigations are ongoing.
