A 62-year-old man has been arrested in Blackpool as part of a renewed investigation into a murder in Belfast almost 40 years ago.
John Huddleston, who was 28, was shot a number of times at his home in Durham Street, west Belfast, on 24 March, 1973.
His brother was injured in the attack.
The arrest follows a review by the PSNI's Historical Enquiries Team.
Detectives from the PSNI's serious crime branch, with assistance from Lancashire Police and the North West Counter Terrorism Unit, detained a man in Blackpool this morning.
