History will be made today when the PSNI Gaelic football team take on their Garda counterparts in Croke Park.

Since 2002, the PSNI has played the Garda team every year but today's match will be the first at GAA headquarters.

The teams play for the MacCarthy Cup, named after 19th century policeman Thomas St George MacCarthy, a Royal Irish Constabulary officer who helped found the GAA in 1884.
