A man in his mid 20s is due before a special sitting of Limerick District Court at midday tomorrow, charged in relation to a stabbing incident in the city centre yesterday afternoon.
The incident broke out in a laneway off Parnell St in the centre of the city at around 3pm.
A group of people got involved in a scuffle behind a store in the street, and a 33-year-old man received a stab wound to the neck.
A female, also in her mid 20s, who was arrested as part of the same investigation, has been released without charge.
