There has been a call for Northern Ireland Health Minister Edwin Poots to launch an inquiry after a woman was stabbed while attending a health meeting in north Belfast yesterday.
The attack happened in the reception area of the Grove Wellbeing Centre on the York Road shortly after midday.
The 40-year-old woman is said to be in a stable condition in hospital.
It is understood she had earlier expressed concerns about going to the meeting.
Police have arrested a 23-year-old man on suspicion of attempted murder.
Sinn Féin MLA Gerry Kelly said an inquiry should be launched into the role of social services in the run-up to the incident.
