A 45-year-old man has been charged in relation to comments allegedly posted on a social networking site about the murder of Police Constable Ronan Kerr.
The man was arrested in Cookstown yesterday and charged with distributing material that was threatening or offensive.
He has been charged under the Malicious Communications Act.
The man is due to appear before Dungannon Magistrate's Court in three weeks' time.
A condition of his police bail is that he is not allowed to use a computer.
