A man has appeared in Swinford District Court charged in connection with the murder of Tom Ward in Sligo in August 2007.
Michael Sweeney of Bog Road, Ballinrobe, Co Mayo, is charged with withholding information relating to the murder of Mr Ward.
The case has been adjourned to Sligo District Court on 16 June.
A book of evidence is being prepared.
Mr Ward was beaten to death outside his parents' home in the Cranmore Estate in Sligo.
