A motorcyclist has died in a collision with a car in Lackagh Co Galway.
The 43-year-old motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the car was uninjured.
The collision occurred around 4.30pm 13 miles outside Galway city on the Galway to Tuam Rd.
The road at the scene of the collision is closed at present to facilitate a forensic collision investigation.
It is likely to be closed until tomorrow afternoon.
