Investigations are under way in Galway following a collision between a train and a car at a level crossing on the outskirts of the city.
The accident occurred at an unmanned crossing at Murrough on the main Galway-Dublin rail line shortly after midday.
The two occupants of the car and the 170 passengers on the train were not injured.
Services on the line were disrupted for a number of hours but trains are now running to schedule.
Iarnród Éireann and the Railway Accident Investigations Unit have both begun investigations into the incident.
