A man in his 30s has died in a road crash in Co Louth this morning.
The man died after his car hit a ditch at Philipstown, Hackballscross at 2.45am this morning.
His body has been taken to the morgue at Louth County Hospital in Dundalk.
The road has been closed for a forensic examination and diversions are in place.

Elsewhere, a six-year-old girl is in a stable condition in hospital following a two-vehicle collision in Limerick yesterday in which an infant boy died.
The one-year-old boy who died in the accident was pronounced dead at the scene.
The collision between a car and a van happened at Rockhill Cross in Brunee on the Cork to Limerick road at about 5pm yesterday evening.
The young girl, who was seriously injured, is being treated in the high dependency unit of the Mid Western Regional Hospital in Limerick.
A woman in her 20s, who was driving the car, was also injured but not seriously.
Three men in the van were not seriously injured.
