Two men have appeared in court charged with the murder of a 27-year-old man who was attacked on his way to work in Dublin in October 2010.
Polish national Lukasz Rzeszutko was attacked and severely beaten as he walked to work in a fish factory in Coolock in the early hours of Saturday, 1 October.
He died in Beaumont Hospital two days later.
Martin Morgan, 20, from Tonlegee Road in Coolock and 20-year-old Edward Byrne with an address at the YMCA Hostel in Dublin 8 were both charged with Mr Rzeszutko's murder.
Judge Denis McLoughlin remanded both of them in custody for a week.
A 17-year-old youth appeared before the Children's Court and was also charged with the murder. He was remanded in custody.
The charges of assault causing harm against Mr Morgan and Mr Byrne were withdrawn in Dublin District Court today.
