A device has exploded and a second device has been made safe at a house in Rathkeale, Co Limerick.
The army bomb disposal team arrived on the scene at 7.30am this morning and examined the site of the explosion. The second device was handed over to gardaí.
The scene was declared safe at 9am.
Gardaí said a woman was in the house at the time was uninjured
Minor damage was caused to front door.
