A 20-year-old man has appeared in court charged with assaulting a Polish man who died in hospital last month.
Lukasz Rzeszutko, 27, was attacked and severely beaten as he walked to work in a fish factory in Coolock in the early hours of Saturday 1 October.
He died in Beaumont Hospital two days later.
Martin Morgan, from Tonalagee Road in Coolock, was brought before the Dublin District Court this evening.
Detective Sergeant Edward Carroll gave evidence of arrest charge and caution and told the court Mr Morgan had nothing to say when charged.
Mr Morgan was remanded on bail with conditions to appear again in court on 10 December.
He is the second person to be charged in connection with the attack.
Edward Byrne, 20, with an address at the YMCA Hostel in Dublin 8, was charged with assaulting Lukasz Rzeszutko causing him harm.
