Two men have died in separate road crashes in counties Clare and Kildare.
In Co Clare, a man in his 30s died when his car left the road and struck a tree at around 9.30pm last night.
The crash took place at Coose near the Clare-Galway border, close to the village of Whitegate.
Elsewhere, a man in his mid 40s died in a crash 1.6km outside Kilmeague at Robertstown West, Co Kildare, between 5am and 5.30am this morning.
The man was on his own in the car at the time.
His body was removed to Naas General Hospital.
