Detectives from the PSNI Serious Crime Branch, investigating dissident republican activity, have charged a 30-year-old man with conspiracy to murder.
The man is also charged with possession of a firearm, ammunition, and having articles in his possession for the purpose of terrorism.
He is to appear at Omagh Magistrates Court tomorrow.
The charges are understood to relate to an incident which took place in the Cookstown/Omagh area on 11 October when a car was stopped by police.
