180 new jobs are to be created in Dublin and Donegal.
140 jobs are to be created in Dublin by the TLC Nursing Home Group.
The jobs will be at a new care centre in Northwood Park in Santry.
The purpose-built nursing home will house 100 beds for both public and private patients, day care and respite facilities.
The new centre will be the fourth such nursing home in the TLC Group which currently employs 354 people.
Day care units are also due to open at the TLC Centre in Straffan, Citywest, and Santry in September.
Elsewhere, 40 jobs are to be created at Largo Food Exports Ltd in the Údarás na Gaeltachta Business Park in Gweedore, Co Donegal.
The company makes a range of snacks including Tayto, Hunky Dory and King Crisps.
The new jobs are expected in around January next year.
