Five people have been injured in a two-vehicle collision on the Tallaght to Blessington road in Dublin.
The crash happened at Crooksling near Saggart at around 8pm last night.
All five people were admitted to Tallaght Hospital.
One man is being treated for what are described as 'serious injuries'.
The road was closed for a time overnight but has since re-opened.
Elsewhere, a five-year-old girl is in a critical condition in hospital after being struck by a car in Co Down.
The girl was walking along Downpatrick Road in Ardglass when the accident happened at around 4.30pm yesterday.
The PSNI has appealed for witnesses to the incident to come forward.
