A man, thought to be in his 50s, has died after being struck by a car on Annesley Bridge Road in Fairview in Dublin at around midnight last night.
The man was taken to the Mater Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Gardaí are asking for assistance in identifying him.
He is described as being about 5’ 5’’ tall, of heavy build with short hair, which is long at the back.
He was wearing blue jeans, a red t-shirt, and a brown three-quarter length suede jacket.
On his forearm is a tattoo of the Irish flag, with the word ‘Éire’ and a shamrock underneath. Anyone with information is asked to contact Clontarf Garda Station on 01-6664800.
