A man has been killed in a crash near Tarmonbarry in Co Roscommon.
The single-vehicle accident happened shortly after 3am this morning.
It is understood that the man, who was from Co Roscommon, was driving towards Dublin when his car went off the road.
The road was closed for a time but has since re-opened.
A garda investigation is under way.
