A man in his 40s has died following a crash near Fordstown, Co Meath, yesterday evening.
The man, who was driving an articulated truck, was seriously injured in the single-vehicle crash on the Delvin to Kells Road (N52).
The man, who was the sole occupant of the truck, was taken to the Midland Regional Hospital Mullingar, but he died this morning.
The road has been closed and diversions are in place.
