A man in his 30s has died in a single-vehicle road crash outside Ennis, Co Clare.
He was the driver and sole occupant of a car that crashed along the Toormore Road outside the town shortly before 11pm last night.
Gardaí are investigating the incident and the road has been closed for a technical examination.
Three die in Northern Ireland crash
Three people died in a road accident early this morning involving two cars on the Killinchy Road outside Comber in Co Down.
The two men and one woman were in one of the vehicles.
The collision happened shortly after midnight and the PSNI says a section of the road has been closed while an investigation is carried out.
