Three men have been charged in connection with the manslaughter of a 65-year-old farmer in Co Cork in August 2008.
Connie O'Sullivan, 57, from Rylane in Co Cork, together with his son Finbarr and his nephew Thomas Byrne, both 24, were all charged with the unlawful death of John Twomey on 19 August 2008.
The three were also charged with assaulting John Twomey's older brother Pat.
All three were arrested at their homes in Dripsey and Rylane last evening and taken to Bandon and Macroom garda stations before being brought before the District Court today.
The State made no objections to applications for bail at a sitting of the District Court in Macroom this morning.
Judge James McNulty released all three men on bail on condition they surrender their passports and sign on twice weekly at Macroom Garda Station.
The three are to appear before the District Court again on 2 December.
