A man has died while taking part in a motorcycle event in Crossakiel, Co Meath.
The incident happened just before 6pm.
The man, who was in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
His body has been removed to Our Lady’s Hospital Navan where a post mortem examination will be carried.
The annual Kells Road Race is taking place at Crossakiel this weekend.
