Two motorcyclists have died in separate crashes in counties Tipperary and Derry.

The latest crash happened this morning in Cahir in Co Tipperary.

A man in his 30s died after his motorbike collided with a car at Abbey Street at 9.30am.

The road is closed for a technical examination.

A 31-year-old man died in a crash in Derry last night.

His motorcycle was involved in a collision with a car in Castlerock at around 7.30pm.

Elsewhere, a man has been taken to hospital following a crash in Ballyfermot in Dublin.

He was the driver of a car that collided with two parked cars along Ballyfermot Road Upper at around 12.30am this morning.
