Police in the North have launched a murder investigation after a man was stabbed in Lisburn in the early hours of this morning.
The 20-year-old man was stabbed during a disturbance near Lisburn city centre shortly before 2am.
He was rushed to hospital with critical injuries but died around 5pm.
He has been named as Darren Roberts and was from the Lisburn area.
An 18-year-old man was stabbed in the side during the same incident but his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
Three men, aged 23, 21 and 20 have been arrested and are currently in custody.
Police in Lisburn are appealing for any witnesses to the incident to contact them.
