A man in his 30s has been killed in a road crash in Co Limerick.
The man died when his car crashed on a stretch of road in the townland of Garranroe between Patrickswell and Croom on the main Limerick to Cork road at around 2am this morning.
No other vehicle was involved in the incident.
A man and a woman also in the car were taken to the Midwestern Regional Hospital in Limerick, but their injuries are described as not life threatening.
The stretch of road was closed for a time but has since reopened.
