A man's body has been discovered in the boot of a car in Dublin.

The body of the 30-year-old man was discovered in a car parked on Island Street in Dublin at around 11.30pm last night.

A post mortem on the body of the man has proved inconclusive.

The scene where the man's body was discovered was sealed-off for most of the morning on Island Street in Dublin's south inner city.

Shortly before lunchtime the body was removed and brought to the Dublin city morgue.

The dead man, who was from the Czech Republic, had been working in Naas and was reported missing last Saturday.

A number of searches by gardai led to the checking the car on Ushers Island last night, where gardai discovered the man's body inside the boot.
